Yeah, I registered for EZBoard to post on the Pavilion in January of 2001. I posted for a while unregistered before that, both on the Pav and on the Agetec boards.

I remember I got the game in October of 2000 for my birthday and I found the Agetec forums while I was looking for help getting started. I believe Kire or somebody was on there advertising the Pavilion pretty frequently and I eventually migrated over here.

Big Rick was there in the first year too, I think. Maybe Gustaff as well? I feel like there are a surprising amount of us current members who have been here from about the beginning.

I am absolutely delighted to still be apart of this community that has made me laugh for so many years. I cannot begin to imagine the countless moments I have laughed hysterically at the computer because of this place.

Not to mention the solid, supportive friends I've made.

I came here somewhere in year 2 if my math is correct. Back then, I only had my girlfriend's WebTV (remember that piece of ****?) or the public library to visit here, but I enjoyed almost every minute of it. After taking something like a three-year hiatus, I came back to this place after the move from ezBoard. Since then, this place for me has been the closest thing to home as an internet website can be.

The Pavilion has given me so many good times and good friends, discussions that were equal parts thought-provoking, ludicrous drivel, and everything in between, and so much more. I'm sincerely grateful for this place.

Here's to ten more years.

I'm really happy for this site's 10th year. I'm glad that I've made so many friends here. And even though I may leave for weeks or months at a time, and only have 341 posts, I'm here to stay. *screams are heard in the distance*.

This topic has actually got me feeling a little emotional. We're honestly the first generation to be able to experience such a long lasting and genuine social network involving people who for the most part have never met each other in person. It's crazy. I mean, some of you are honestly some of the better friends I've had in my life. I've been coming here since I was 12 and it'd be crazy to say you haven't effected who I am as a person. I'd be a lot more ignorant to the world around me.

Never thought when I first started posting about my stupid game ideas that 8 years later I'd still be coming here every day to shoot the **** with a bunch of nerds.

Not ashamed to say that I cried a little bit writing that.

Happy Decade, Pavilion! I joined in 2001 and for some reason am still around.

Even though I'm no more than a lurker now, I still remember the good times we had when I actually contributed. >_>

Happy Sixth Anniversary, Palk! I don't think we could ask for a more eccentric and hard-working webmaster. It's funny when you throw things on roofs and find gross stuff in the road, but please try to refrain from giving yourself second degree burns with rockets in the future.

I was lurking in September of 2000 but didn't register until December of that year. Posted for about 3 months and then disappeared for four or five before I came back.

I consider myself part of the "decade team." And Starba sends her regards.
