sometimes out here in space it can be
a little too quiet...and while me and my
fellow privateers sit back and enjoy a
few cold ones while talking in TS we like
to reflect.....




reflect??? no...we dont really...but we love
it when a NIGHTHAWK comes cruisin through
so we can try and put some dents into his windshield.






but sadly...even after calling in for more firepower
this little bugger got away. look my friends, the EVE
universe isnt a little bundle of joy. and no pilot is
absolutely trustworthy. we in Privateers know this.
and sometimes we get a spy or 2...i aint sayin any
names. its just the facts. we accept it.

so where the hell is all the action???

ask and ye shall receive!



this began as a simple engagement that quickly
turned ugly as more and more enemy targets began
to show up. just my cup of tea.

a special day it is...

november the 22nd


i have reached the century mark in EVE!
my services with privateers has hit its
first landmark with many more to come!

thats right, today i reached the 100 kill mark
with privateers!

so to celebrate lets see who the lucky
winners...ugh...i mean losers were that
sent JJ into the cosmic blood pool!

to his corp's site this guy is the #1 pvp pilot

I know this thread is dead but I've never noticed it before today. This thread is coolest thing I've read in a long time. You're war against that corporation is beyond classic! Are you still playing this?

ok just a little teaser here for all you
space cowboys out there...one of our
members in privateers alliance put together
this video. its actually not too bad and
there is even a short part where you see
me flying in formation with the alliance.

in order to spot JJ flying into battle this is
the ship i was in during that video part...




and this is the video...you can see me
at the 1:28 mark for like a few seconds.
i am in the mid/upper left hand part
of the formation.

I've been fighting an itch to get into Eve for a few months now, but the game is intimidating with all the technical details.

In light of my computer being unable to run FFXIV, and my itching to play this game since JSpaceman made this topic, I downloaded the 14-day trial a few days ago and began playing.

So far, it's awesome. My only complaint, the world is a little bland. Hopefully this will change when they add explorable spacestations. Whenever that will be. Other than that it's great. Definitely considering upgrading to a paying account.

wow this topic still gets attention? haha...
sadly i have put my ship into dock and have
not been in EVE for many months now.

my only bit of advice to anyone considering
this game is get into a lowsec/ 0.0 sec/pvp corp
as soon as you can. the most fun i had in EVE
was when i finally joined privateers. terrorizing
as many systems as we could, including lowsec
space was the only highlight for me. that doesnt
mean you couldnt find enjoyment staying away
from that style of play, the mission/quest systems
will keep you busy for a very long time...but
might not keep you interested for long. plus, the
amount of time it takes to train the most important
skills to max so you can at least stand a chance
is very very long indeed.

i doubt i will ever return to EVE at this point in time.
