"What if like...there was an exact copy of you somewhere, except they're the opposite gender, like you guys could literally have a freaky friday moment and nothing would change. Imagine the best friendship that could be found there."
Dunno why I never brought this up here. The reason I haven't done RPGM let's plays in a while is this:
Also, it should be noted that, as of the past half-hour, I am sitting at a computer with no wall behind the desk.

Hooray! The Let's Plays are back... oh, or not. Damn.
My place looks that messy too when I get really busy or really lazy (complete with the table that's so stacked with stuff it becomes unusable). Do yourself (and your fans) a favor: set aside two half-days to spend cleaning the place up. You'll get it done. Stack the boxes against an inconspicuous part of the wall and place other stuff on top.
Glad your hardware is working again, and looking forward to some Let's Plays!
Actually, I'm pretty much already there (although "already" is relative). There's a wall behind my desk again, but it's a different wall, with a window. The new view is gonna take some getting used to. Also, wow, I have a lot more space now. I mean never mind that the view from my front door is better. I could actually lay between my sofa and entertainment cabinet. There wasn't enough room to do that, before. And the lighting situation has improved, as without the wall, I only really need one light on at a time. Though at the same time, all my video games are now powered by a light switch. :P
Here's the update video, with before & after & in between stuff, plus info on when I'll bet back to RPGMing.

Yup, HeroScape. Used to play it often with the guy cousin, when he was still around. Box hasn't been opened since he left. This particular set is "Rise of the Valkyrie".

I just finished re-watching the first five episodes I made of "Light in the Sky". I plan on recording again, tonight. Gonna try to have it ready for a Thursday upload.

His soul swooned slowly as he heard the snow falling faintly through the universe and faintly falling, like the descent of their last end, upon all the living and the dead.
Of course, because I put it off for five months and announced to everyone that I'd return to it tonight, I jynxed myself as a result, and get called in to work. >_<

And tonight, too. There went my last night off. >_<

Well, despite having the majority of my free time taken away due to being called in to work twice in a row, I recorded something, anyway. Here's a clip from the next episode of "Light in the Sky".
Actually, it won't really appear in the next episode, 'cause that was a redundant battle that will be edited out, so consider it a teaser bonus clip. =P

So, at long last, here's the first episode of "A Light in the Sky" since forever ago. It's the first of two videos I've recorded. The second part will upload maybe on Tuesday (I haven't edited it, yet). I should point out that I'm posting this as I head to bed, and it is still processing at this moment, so if you don't see the video, give it about ten more minutes.
We make our overdue return to "A Light in the Sky" by exploring the tunnel leading to Woodwind Prarie. Unfortunately, the tunnel is very hot, with many painful enemies to deal with along the way.
Since it has been so long since I did this LP, I also do a recap of the events leading up to this point. And more importantly, I discuss the repurcussions of night still falling like normal, as well as the effect the night curse had on me as a gamer. Which honestly wasn't much.

Great episode! Glad you've been able to get back to the game.
As far as the next party member, depending on how far you've gotten in the next episode you may already have her, but she's coming up very shortly.
This dungeon is probably the most difficult in terms of enemy difficulty. After this dungeon the enemies will definitely get easier, especially when you get more party members and more magic and skills. The tunnel probably has the toughest enemies relative to the state of the party. And yes, without the Silver Ring, the bats would attack first - that's their gimmick.
For the record, you did miss a few breakable walls, but you didn't miss anything important. There was a Gem Rod, which you already have, a Steel Shield, which is comparable to your Wooden Shield (Steel Shield is balanced at 5 DEF and 5 MDEF, whereas the Wooden Shield is off-balance - 6 DEF and 4 MDEF). There was also a heal point. Though I doubt it matters now since you've probably already finished the dungeon, there is a breakable wall near that gate you hesitated to open on the bottom floor with a heal point and a save point.
Definitely looking forward to the next episode!
