For the time being, I'm trying to go back and redraw old things I had in mind.
I call this thing the Armored Trapper. The more noticeable defense is its forearms and thighs, but the rest of the body is pretty thick to protect itself from most harm.
It's able to stand on its hind legs to be much taller than a full grown man, though normally it moves around on all four. Its mouth is on top of its head.

The Hover Brain.
Small rockets on the bottom help it fly. Whips for its arms to attack or grab hold of enemies. Torso is able to turn 360 degrees. A large artificial eye helps it to see objectives from long distances. Carries a small type of rifle on its shoulder. And the only thing keeping it alive is a human brain encased in a strong jar filled with an unknown liquid.
