Yeah, but it's interesting to read about the possible ways to get there. One of my favs is constructing a giant ring out of anti-mater, here and one at the other end. Then use the two rings to open up a wormhole for interstellar travel. But how are we suppose to build the one at the other end? That's the problem NASA faces.
Anybody got any theories of how we could travel to this planet? Wormholes or something? Come on NASA, do something!
It's not like NASA isn't working on it or anything, it's simply that with our current understanding of physics, even the most theoretically viable (BIG emphasis on theoretical) methods of FTL are well beyond our technology.
...It's a damn shame we'll never meet any life on that planet. We'll all be dead by the time the human race makes contact, i.e. Tries to boot the aliens off the planet to steal all the recourses
