Then they probably haven't been worked on in months....

Though even that's misleading. I've been dribbling out bits of info that's been finished for a while on my game so Valk will pimp it regularly on the front page.

(Actually I did do a bit of work on it in the last two weeks, but yeah, I've been dragging my feet on it).

I'm working on something for XP.

Atm though I'm just gathering resources and potential scripts for use in the game, not even worrying about much else.

I'll make somthing for the next contest so I can win by default again.

I'm working on an untitled project for RPGM1, though I am not sure if I'll finish it soon or if I will release it if I did (for multiple reasons). I guess I'll cross that bridge when I come to it.

            What's up Flame and all,

My game for RPGM3 is tentatively called "Relics of Albion: The Mysterious Gem"
(Partly inspired by an old 70's sci-fi short story, not WoW, Diablo, etc.)

I've decided to make the main PC a child which hopefully won't put the player to sleep with the slower running pace...

It's going to be very goal-oriented, but without a lot of over-explaining as to where the character is supposed to go to find what he needs to advance. (Exploration will be key.)

            Some other basic info:

*Skills, level-ups and most battles will be tightly controlled - this serves to maintain the story's integrity.

*Most (maybe all) money transactions will be handled through events and variable control, rather than the typical shop interactions. (Because the player is a child, some shops won't sell to him, so the best items are the ones found elsewhere in the game.)

*The story will entail two (or more) societies/races who are locked in a power struggle, and naturally our protagonist finds himself caught up in the middle.

*The ending may likely culminate in a choose-your-own-adventure scenario, where the player must decide which side to lend support to.

            Progress is around 50% currently...
A few more months of work should do it! xP

Re: Who is currently making a game?

I am working on a game for XP though i have most of the resources i just need a few scripts that won't conflict with the SDK Scripts.

Here's some screenshot of my progress so far.

Though i also am doing a VX game but this one based off a game idea i drew up years ago.
              That will take a while.

There is one thing that pretty much disturbes me in an SRPG....

Re: Who is currently making a game?

I'm trying to get some work done to revive an old game project from a few years ago, using RMXP.

Most of my material (mostly writing, character bios, a few concept graphics, etc.) is buried on one of my old back-up drives. I'll post some info on it once I actually manage to find my stuff.

Though I'll probably have to significantly tone down the game's feature set and my ambitions - or I'll never make any progress.

Also, I really need to learn RMXP's unique flavor of Ruby so I can start cranking out scripts for the custom systems I want. Some day.
