for the most part, the only new tiles I'm creating are the tiles that will make up the outside and inside of the towers. the outside of the towers were easy to do, but the inside is a major pain in the ass. mostly because of scale.
the above screenshot is actually pretty old, from when I was first making that particular map. so it's really outdated.
I'll go ahead and throw a few screenshots in their own topic in a minute.
I havent posted anything about this for quite a while.

Finally got around to changing the "mugshot" images for the characters. I had them posted in this topic previously but removed them quite a while back. I remade them the other day to match the final style of the sprites in the game.
These are just images of the character faces to be used in various things.

At least this helps me feel good about constantly redrawing the sprites.
There was another redesign before this newest one. I dont remember where that went. which is why I had to make another new one. because I wasnt gonna use the old one.
because it looks really stupid. and his armor design changed after the first stupid one.
with the new one, I did what I've been doing with all the finalized sprites. drawing a body/head first, then drawing the armor ontop of it, to make sure the sizing works properly. I didnt do that in the first sprites, and it shows. the shapes were odd with most of the old sprites.
The sprites look great. I really like the rework of Lucid's head/face, nice call there. His hands are a little hard to see in the sprite pic. Megan and Erica are really cute.
