Yes, I just recently found that out. But now I got another question. =/ If I am making a storyteller and I am using two characters, is it posible to make only one on the screen at a time? So it shows the char. A with a text box, then Char. A goes away, then char. B appears with another text box, and it keeps alternating until the end. Is that possible, if so, how?

Well, after the character is done speaking, you go one slot down, select it, and turn display "off".

Yes. Or you could always change the graphic of Character A.

When you put a picture of a character, there is a triangle on the line you placed it, then a long line to the bottom. That means the character will be displayed in every line. You just select the line inmediately below the picture and, at the top, put display off (this is the second line). Then copy the picture into the third line and so on.

alright, i'll try that out on friday ( I can't play video games on school days) hopefully the teachers don't give me any weekend homework... But I don't remember an option on the spaces below that original triangle to choose "display off", there was only "new" or do I have to press a button that isn't X?

Create a new key. Once you get to the screen that shows the 2d picture you are going to use, go to the upper left corner and have the display turn "off" That's all.

It is the same if it is a prologue, game over, long storyteller, one line long...

                        I still don't understand variables.
Can anyone make an event that uses variables and I'll
                        just do it.

No one here can just post an event using variables, because no one here besides you knows what you hope to accomplish by using them. So, yeah, read the link.

                              Here's an example event.
                              Mark
                              Internal Variable Branch 2 options
                              Option 1 = 0
                              Option 2 = 1
                              Option 1- Hey man.
                              Option 2- Yo yo yo.
                              Increase Internal Variable - Mark - 1
                              I think that would work.

Here's a great variable explanation [and mini sample event] by Crimson Knight It has helped many people, and is written well.
