Okay...I finally picked up the full version of this using the discount code. They must have patched it for Windows 64 bit or something, because I redownloaded the full version (only had the trial before), installed, and launched, and did not have any problems with it opening. Using the trial version, I had to use a 64-bit fix .exe file. It seems that I no longer need to do this. Now to spend some time wrapping my head around the ins and outs of the program.

Hey Valk, were you able to find out if XP still has that same reactivation process? I'm sure the discount expires at some point, so i wanted to get in while the getting was good.

I guess i could always email them with questions though.

Well that's a relief. Since I've missed my chance to get a Max Drive this year, I've decided to buy a copy of RPGMXP. It's cheaper than the Drive anyway.

Woohoo, I bought XP through the referral link. I never even realized how affordable it was. Will be nice to learn and have some fun with at any rate.

Hopefully, Ace will also have this kind of an offer. 30% of that maker's price would be a pretty nice sum.
