Every race has 90 points distributed.

Each subrace is designed to be the somewhat opposite of the other, so that players can pick a race while still enjoying certain play-styles.

Melee rankings:
1: Hyur Highlander
2: Miquote Seeker of Sun
2: Roegadyn Sea Wolf
4: Hyur Midlander
4: Elezen Wildwood
6: Elezen Duskwight
7: Lalafell Plainsfolk
7: Hellsguard Roegadyn (??? that's a shocker)
9: Miqote Keeper of Moon
10: Lalafell Dunesfolk

Magic Ranking
1: Lalafell Dunesfolk
2: Miquote Keeper of Moon
3: Roegadyn Hellsguard (i can haz Galka mage?)
3: Lalafell Plainsfolk
5: Elezen Duskwight
6: Hyur Midlander
6: Elezen Wildwood
8: Miqote Seeker of Sun
8: Roegadyn Sea Wolf
10: Hyur Highlander

Of course these stats can be changed as you see fit whenever you level up, but it's something to consider when starting. It also means that certain races will never be able to beat the other when you hit the level cap.

As for my choice I'm sticking to Dunesfolk Archer. Just need to really ramp up that dexterity at the start.

Judging from what I've been reading, Lindblum and Figaro seem to be where /v/ from 4chan is migrating to. I'd imagine those places will be capped off before long.

Any second choices?

I'm glad you guys found these fast things, as updating overnight for 2 days still didnt have the 1st of 7 files complete.

This should only take 4 hours as the current speed, which i'm sure will get faster with my connection.

I also like that Hyur Highlanders are the best for starting melee. I was thinking of going as a highlander anyway.

The race i was going to choose is 2nd best for starting melee, so that works out well for me.

Edit: okay, this is just borderline torture i think. I downloaded the large file that Thief linked to, and then it only had to update 3 small files...well, its on the last file now, but NO ONE IS SEEDING the files or whatever the hell they call them, so i'm just sitting here at 99.9% with an est 20 SECONDS left of download.

Am i just stupid or is there really no point for the maps you are given. I cant figure out where i'm supposed to be going if i cant look at the entire map, or determine where if am in relation to where i'm supposed to be going...sheesh.
