I think there should be some for RPG Maker 2. They could cover a wide range of topics from how to use the Building Editor, to more advanced topics like how to create a custom battle system. The only problem is finding people who would want to do something like this. I vote for madcopper, though. He did great work on his TBS video, and he is extremely knowledgeable in RPGM2. Re: Video tutorials
On paper this is a wonderful, wonderful idea.
The two hurdles lie in actually getting the videos made (this decision would, of course, be solely up to the people who are really good with the software), and perhaps figuring out a way to provide the bandwidth necessary for lots of streaming (or, alternatively, figuring out an organized way to host the videos on youtube or something).
This wouldn't be easy, but man, it would be great.Last edited by Wavelength; 11-19-2008, 02:40 AM.
How Badly Do You Want It? (VX Ace) is now available for download! - no outside software necessary.

Re: Video tutorials
I don't think this would be to terribly difficult. You would have to find a few people willing to make the videos, which I am more than willing to do. Then you would have to create a shared account on Youtube where the videos would be hosted. (The password would only be given to those who are loading videos of course) Then have a sticky in one of the forums that have links and brief explanations to all of the videos.
I really like this idea and am more than willing to create a few tutorial videos for RPGM2. I had planned on making a guide for my TBS anyways so I guess it wouldn't hurt to make it in video form. Also for things like using the editors, understanding the interfaces, explanations of things like direct/indirect effects, changing the DBS, and anything else people would be willing to do.Last edited by madcopper; 11-19-2008, 11:46 AM.
