    Get Vista for XP No system change (kinda a skin)

    Hi! My name is Kamekaze and I have been searching on ways to upgrade my computer for free! And thats when I found Flomax!....err......On a totally different note, I have found a way to make your computer look like vista still being XP without changing your systems. So no restart or anything. Its more like a vista skin anyway. With this skin you can make windows transparent, roll and unroll them, and get the cool X, minimize, maximize signs. (Oh just see for yourself, it has tons of other features.) First you need a program called WindowBlinds6. Don't worry, I'll include the link. Get the Eval Version because the full costs 20$.

    Ok so heres the deal on how to get Vista for XP.
    1.http://www.stardock.com/products/windowblinds/ Click the free trial

    2.Install WIndowBlinds6 (Its a small program should take like 5mins)

    3.http://www.wincustomize.com/skins.as...&libid=1(Click the download button)

    3 and 1/2: If you want white Vista go here:http://www.wincustomize.com/skins.as...d=6217&libid=1

    4.Open WIndowBlinds6

    5.Find your skin that you downloaded

    6.Click apply

    7.(Optional) If you want some cool wallpapers you can go to

    Other than that you can customize, but all the wallpapers I linked to you are meant for Vista for XP.

    heh, windowblinds kina sucks. adds a lot of time to startup without much benefit.

        Really? I havn't found any trouble with it at all. It seems to be neutral for my computer.

                  Yes but im not trying to advertise WindowBlinds. Im just informing you how to make your computer look like vista that is all. swear.

                          Why do you need windows to look like Vista? The graphics eats up system resources like crazy, I have Vista and I have mine set to the classic windows, all the pretty menus and everything does nothing for me.
