What to expect when the pavilion comes back tomorrow

Tomorrow, there's going to be a few hours of downtime here. I don't know exactly when it will start or end.

These are the things that will be different tomorrow:

• The Official Pavilion Photo Topic will be restarted, with all the new posts from the past month moved into the new topic.
• The final Beauty Pageant polls will be posted.
• Game forums that have not been posted in for the past year will be deleted.
• Social Groups that have not been active since September will be deleted.
• With both the Game forums and Social Groups, posting in them now will not save them unless you actually contribute something to them. new discussion in a social group, or a genuine update about your game or whatever you use your game forum for will be required. post bump or some other random thing in an effort to save it, and it will be ignored.
• New staff will be brought on.
• All RPG Maker demos will be removed from the database, and put directly on the site for download, no longer taking resources from the rest of the site. Yes, the download counters for these titles will be lost. aside from the lost download counters, there will be no obvious difference.
• RPG Maker XP and VX will become fully supported, with new sections opening for both on the main site.

We just had a huge update earlier this year. I can't imagine what else could possibly be added.

My game forum is fine...I've got 11 threads with posts within the past year.

My lame-ass social groups are probably going bye-bye though.

These three things alone get my vote for this as Best. Update. Ever. The other ones are icing on the cake.

...Except clearing the Photo topic seems a bit weird. Was it becoming a strain on the servers, or was it just too unwieldy for people to navigate?

photo topic is full of broken images, and at over 5,000 replies, is the biggest thing on the pavilion.
