Hard to tell with the extra polygon count and other facial stuff customized in.

Could be the same hair style. Guy definitely looks like he's from the more muscular hume clan, though. If it were the other clan, it might look more similar to my guy.

Oh man, I'm going to probably get this game and quit Aion. I loved FFXI and playing with the Pavvies back in High School.

We'll have to figure out a server (unless they do that BS random server crap) so we can all play.

You have to pay $3/mo for any extra characters, and $1/mo extra for a mule character that will stay logged in to bazaar your goods even if you're logged out.

Looking at the new beta, I see the normal stats of STR, DEX, MND, INT, etc, are around.

However, does anyone know what PIE does?

I want to max my PIE stat as much as possible, regardless of what it does.

I thought this was neat. When you start to lag out of FF14, you're still able to talk to your friends and let them know what's going on right away instead of vanishing all of a sudden.

Awesome, I hate when someone drops in an instance and no one has any idea what went on.

I cancelled Aion since there is a mass exodus due to NCsoft's ****ty support and server merges. Just got to figure out where I'm going to pre-order the CE and I am ready to play some FF14 when its released.

It looks like chat is run seperately from server.

But what do you do when chat lags out, or you disconnect entirely?

Screw my other post regarding Final Fantasy XI, I'm bailing on that sinking boat an getting this. I will probably regret buying into this and wasting my preciously limited time, but what the hell, I'm doing it.

Do we know what "servers" will be like in this? We should all migrate to the same server for fun and excitement.
