Re: Do graphics make the game?

For the PS2, I wasn't blown away by its graphics but I was satisfied with Indigo Prophecy's presentation. Aside from the occasional oddity where certain behaviors expressions that seem off for American culture (as the game was originally made in Europe under the name "Fahrenheit"). My pick on Indigo Prophecy wasn't its graphics, though...as much as I like the story, I will admit the US version feels rushed. If this is your first time playing, as I suspect, you'll likely see what I mean way later. I didn't think it totally ruined the story it just made me feel like "Eh, I wish they would have taken a little bit of time with that". But, I love the game, myself.

I wish there were more games of considerable quality that are like a "interactive movie" like IP is. I'm still going to wait and see if Heavy Rain and inFamous for that matter, will be worth getting a PS3. inFamous looks impressive, but I have my doubts now after watching footage as too whether or not it is worth my hard-earned money (if I think it will be fun for more than 2 hours). I have yet to know anything at all about Heavy Rain... as I haven't been keeping up with their progress at all.

I want some god damn vector-illustrated 2d adventure platformers.

I sit here and fantasize about a modern day Sonic the Hedgehog that's not spoiled by ****ty camera angles or Knuckles Hunting quests.

I don't care for turning platform games 3D...haven't played any game that follows along those lines.
