    Anubis Conflict

Started this today, I plan on finishing it this time!

As the last peace meeting concluded, Anubis' Commander Alfred G. Satka announced that Anubis is withdrawing from any and all talks with Darius, citing that "The greatest nation of our time has turned into a tyrant of uncontrollable madness, wanting to control everything it percieves as a possible enemy. Mr. Wilkins has no reason to accuse me of anything and my nation will not stand for it, with that said I am hereby withdrawing all chances of future peace talks with the Nation of Darius."

You are James McClendon, top graduate of D.A.F.T.A., your mission, if you accept, is to sneak into Anubis and find out what is really going on, if anything at all.

Using all your stealth training, you will Infiltrate Anubis' massive Military Complex and obtain critical information about what Anubis is planning, all without being seen...if you are seen, chances are you will not survive.
And heres some eye candy of the beginning of the Anubis Military Complex, where this whole game will take place, there will be 12 areas in this complex, each having a specific cause(Laundry Tent, Ammo Storage Facilities, Mess halls, bunks, research labratory, experimentation labratory, etc..., theres alot more to this complex then what will meet the eye, but its spoilers right now.

Yes, thats a custom pre-made map, Im altering the terrain as I see fit.

    Features
-Enemies have a "Field of Vision" - Don't be seen!
    -No levelling, no experience.
    -Modernized world.
    -Tactical missions
-Stores with modern goods, such as 20 oz. sodas, cigarettes, Ginseng Tablets, and more that does various things!
-MP, or Military Points, are used for special attacks, such as launching grenades, using rocket launchers, smoke grenades, and using biochemical weapons.
-Earn pay for completing missions, the better your mission went, the more likely you are to be promoted, enabling you to have access to more items, weapons, and skills!

    More to come!

This sounds cool! I hope you post more screenies in the future! It sorta sounds like Metal Gear Solid mixed with Final Fantasy 8 hehe

I really like the concept. I'm just wondering how you'll make enemies have a line of sight? Well I wish you the best with this.

This idea reminds me of Pagerron's Test Facility. Using the field editor to make manmade structers.

                Re: Anubis Conflict

Pagerrons map was a big inspiration for this, I was going to make a few massive towns but this is a much better idea.

Ive already worked out the line of sight thing.

Ive been working on this like crazy the past few days, Im going to release the demo when I get done with the first and second mission, which is entitled "The Infiltration" and something else

When you first enter you go into town, youre dressed in regular clothes, when you get in the complex youre suppose to find the laundry tent and change into a soldier uniform.

                  Re: Anubis Conflict

Thanks for the compliment JPS, but if it weren't for the original Anubis Conflict threads, I wouldn't have been inspired to make Test Facility in the first place.

I'm so glad to see that this game is back again. It's great to see the map too. It looks really cool. I can just picture that field full of things to do, people to avoid, traps to disarm, ammunition to find, med kits....Awesome! I'm so glad you're making this game JPS. Cool. I still have fond memories of the early Anubis conflict threads.

I can't wait to see how you worked out the line of sight issue.
