    Re: Virginia Tech massacre

I almost started crying when they were talking about this on the radio. I feel sorry for all those families.

I know that saying this from my computer chair would be different then actually being in a situation like that, but the way I see it, If I was that sitauation and knew I was probably gonna die anyway, I would At least try to take the mofo down with me.

Jack Thompsion is on the case. This man appears to have owned an Xbox360. Obviously he had been training for weeks since he owns Gears of War, a popular murder simulator. I propose a ban on all xbox360s, and that I get a large sum of monies.

Why stop there? I propose we get rid of all TVs, CDs, CD players, radios, and board games. Then we can all sit in the corner and stare at a wall until we go nuts.

Actually, you would be surprised of what you would ACTUALLY do in the situation. In your mind you would be thinking "Let's take this crazy **** out", but generally people will run or hide by impulse. The body instinctively figures that you have a higher survival rate by getting away from the threat.

                Yeah, this sucks pretty bad.

I'd probably try to run away too if I was in the situation.

I'd ****ing find a closet and hide in the very back.
The Cyclops having only one eye, needed to seek shelter from the harsh sun. The shadow cast by the spheres gave him temporary respite.

I don't have a clue what I would do in that situation.

I agree. I'd do the same thing.

This is terrible. I just don't understand what makes these kinds of people tick, and what makes them sick enough to take so many people's lives.

I'd use the heart of the cards and annihilate them. Either that or a hadoken, i'd have to be in that situation I guess.

Well I know how to defend myself, so I wouldn't be hiding in that situation. I would first get anyone near me to a safe distance and then get the drop on the guy by distracting him.

Given the loud noises, he would be jumpy enough to shoot at any noise he heard inside, so that would give plenty of oppunity to get him.

This might sound a little insensitive, but did no one try and take this guy down? When I first heard about this on the news I thought this guy had an assault riffle or at least something semi automatic. But all the authorities found were a 9mm and a .22 pistol. The 9mm either had clips of 10 or 19 rounds, this guy shot over 60 or 70 people right? He would have had to reload his 9mm at least 4 or 5 times. Not trying to sound like a dick, just trying to understand what went on.

Dateline has been calling it :the largest single act of gun violence in US history." That sounds so implausible but I guess they wouldn't be saying it if it wasn't true.
