Answers to basic RPGM3 questions. (Please read before asking a question.)
Yeah, Pitchfork, that works as well. However, internal variables are easy to track as well, and, uh...I don't like modes.
I'll probably put that in nontheless.

In my experience, when figuring out which areas are walkable, I've found that the red mask only shows up on ground that is below sea level. It will not show steep slopes or ground that is at sea level.
"What if like...there was an exact copy of you somewhere, except they're the opposite gender, like you guys could literally have a freaky friday moment and nothing would change. Imagine the best friendship that could be found there."

Hitogoroshi,
For what it's worth, I recently created Mode Creation Sample Walkthrough for RPG Maker 3 and Variable Creation Sample Walkthrough for RPG Maker 3. I've uploaded them in the Submissions section. When they're approved, I hope they can be helpful, especially to new owners of RPG Maker 3.
is there a way to set up boss battles in rpg maker 3?
for example:
you're doing a quest for the the orb of echos and you have to go through a dungeon to get it. You get to the last lvl of the dungeon but you have to fight grazzix, the boss of the dungeon to get the orb.
So is there a way to set up a boss battle so that you can put a boss in a particular space that you have to fight before you get ahold of the quest item?
I'm pretty sure that one of the event commands is called 'Boss Battle' or maybe it's 'Event Battle.' Either way, that's the command that you need to use. If you don't know how to do events, then you go into Layout mode, pick the spot, press X, pick Event, then go to Event Code. There is where you can enter the codes.
If you guys forgot, any questions or tips can be added. Just add them and I'll edit the first post.
[EDIT: Hey, sitcky! Now I made the title less ugly.]
[EDIT EDIT: Now that I don't need to bump this, I won't double post. Anywho, I now date the new stuff, so you can tell whats new on the list.
This is for the console RPG Makers. You can find an RPG Maker XP demo at download.com. All other PC RPG Makers are pirates and discussion of such will lead to a ban warning.
