Re: Pavilionites of old - Where are they now?

yeah. it sucks a lot. finding out angelsboi was dead was horrible enough. and then finding out that fopa was dying, someone who I was friends with for the past 6 years, emotionally I'm just about ready to shut down. He struggled to keep going constantly since I've known him, and after he finally cleared his head and was straightening his life out, he's hit with something like cancer, which is completely beyond his control.

its ****ing horrible. it's just not right.

That's exactly about how I feel. Angels and Fopa are both way too young to go.

Wow...I'm really going to miss him. If I do ANYTHING with the quake engine I'm dedicating it to him.

        Man....

          Well guys its been fun.

Jesters packing his bags and leaving the pavilion.

          Why?

I dunno. Just feels like its my time.

I don't really know how long Ive been here, but its been fun.

We've had soem laughs and shared some pain.

I will take away fond memories from this place and I really wish I had gotten to know a lot of you better.

I probably wont be on AIM much anymore.

          But anyways.

          Peace out,

          The DarkJester.

PS: I did it in this thread because i felt it was most appropriate. Looking back at the pavilion and me leaving or something fart ass fart.

Re: Pavilionites of old - Where are they now?

This is all a major bummer. So much bad news in such a little amount of time. Damn, we need some good news. It isn't fair for Fopa to have that horrible cancer. I didn't know him, but that is something I wouldn't wish on my worst enemy. He sounds like such a nice guy. This ****ing sucks ass! I hope he is living his life to the fullest.

Jester, good luck with everything. I hope life treats you well.

                  Damn.

Redneck, Redneck v.2, Fopa, and now Jester.

Some of my favorite pavvies are no more.

                  Who's next? Caciss? Alzar? IRC?

Edit: I would also just like to add to the sentiment that Fopa was just cool as ****. He was one of the most brilliant people I've met, but at the same time he was so laid back, and I really admire that.

Edit2: And Jester, take it easy my good man. Regardless of your reason for going, much fun has been had. I got a lot of laughs from you over the years. Enjoy the rest of your life.

I'm sending my number one salute out to Kefka and Magus. I'll miss you homies the most.

Don't worry, us four going out wit' a bang. Check you laters.

Keep it rolling, Valk. Keep it rolling.

You can never leave, Alzar. you've tried and tried, and you've failed each time.

                        the pavilion owns you.

F0pa didn't sound depressed when he talked to me about having the cancer. It seemed like he accepted the fact he was dying and just said **** it since he was living on barrowed time anyways.
"At first it just looked like a picture of a bunch of lily pads, but then I started scraping at it with my pocket knife and the whole painting just sort of spoke to me," Schmidt said. That's kind of how I would've expected him to behave. The dude's the Man.

Well, this is a depressing topic.
not a completely hateful place anymore.
Fixed. You don't see much in the way of flame wars here, but occasionally you might see someone throwing a huge hissy fit as they leave forever.
