Anything Goes
Originally intended as a "no-theme" contest to bring out the most creative games from the community, it was later changed into the largest contest in RPG Maker history; every single game on the pavilion for RPG Maker 1 and 2 were scored to find the best of the best.

Absolute Garbage
The first RPG Maker 3 contest was mostly done as a joke. RPG Maker 3 was getting some bad feedback, so this contest was created to get people to use it anyways, look past the limitations of the software, and just have fun. Many people grew to like RPG Maker 3 while working on their entries, and abandoned them to work on actual games. Reverse psychology works, kids. Anyways, the goal was to make the absolute worst game possible.

Everything about this contest was picked by the RPG Maker community, including the name. basically, it's a repeat of the Anything Goes contest, except games already on the site are not allowed. make whatever type of game you want, for RPG Maker 1, 2, 3, or XP.

Untraditional! by Eli Youngs, Dane Petersen and Gunner Petersen for RPG Maker 1
SS World by Tsunami for RPG Maker 2
Duder and the Mage by irate giraffe for RPG Maker 3
There were no entries for RPG Maker XP

Absolute Garbage The Second
After the success and popularity of the first Absolute Garbage contest, another was held which allowed the use of all three console RPG Makers, with one winner per RPG Maker. In addition to this, participants were allowed up to three entries. Everything was going well until it came time to send out the prizes. The plan was to use the US Postal Service's website to send bundles of 100+ shipping boxes to each winner. The order was placed, but never filled. apparently the USPS doesnt allow boxspam.

Don't Move by 1ce for RPG Maker 1
Doctor Who: Waste of the Daleks by Rodak for RPG Maker 2
Legacy of Jack by Red Dragon for RPG Maker 3

Eventually, information from all the RPG Maker Pavilion's major contests will be posted here, such as the speedy RPG contest, the return to glory contest, and the "lets not make a crappy game okay" contest. The various contests that had staff positions as prizes will not be archived.
