    Next Scenario

I've had RPG Maker for years but I've never used this.

So, as dumb as this question may sound, what in the holy hell does this thing do?

I think that's for when you want to switch to the next scenario data. It's sort of self-explanatory but you might run out of scenario data and the game has a built in feature for you to switch to a fresh memory card so you only really run out of scenario data until you run out of memory cards. You can do something similar with system data but it's not a built in feature of the game, it's just an exploit of the save data.

It's basically the same thing as when you're told to switch to the next disk in the PS1 Final Fantasy games.

You've played through RPGM1 games like Jester's Hunt, right? When you're told to switch to the next scenario card, that's done with the Next Scenario command.

        I did this.

I can reuse switches, right? Won't that **** **** up if I were to bring an event from the first scenario card to the second?

Anyone else find the paralyze status pretty funny?

you can re-use switches as long as you're smart about it.

even on one scenario data, I re-use switches.

Treasure events are the only things that reset during the cross between scenario changes.

yeah, switches you want to re-use will have to be turned off by a new event. the on/off state is tracked in your save

                Re: Next Scenario

                Ran into a problem.

There are a few events (Minigames for example) from Scenario 1 that I need to transfer over to Scenario 2. I'm guessing the only way to actually get them on Scenario 2 is to create them again from scratch. If there's any easier way please let me know. Because the current option sounds extremely tedious and boring.

Yeah, I got around this. It wasn't as tedious as I thought it would be.
