That is the Tactical RPG. One Crash of Solace is the Chrono Trigger-like RPG.
I expect to push this game's resolution capabilities to their limits in the Chrono Trigger type RPG. The Tactical RPG will focus on somehow making an RPGM XP game with an isometric view, if that feature is not already there. The character graphics on the tactical RPG probably won't be much to brag about(Tactics Ogre quality), but the backgrounds will have every last ounce of effort poured into them. I want to go for a sort of Akira look, a bit cartoonish but with some realism, only with big, hulking, leather-clad, hairy stubble-faced badasses of European descent on gas-guzzling Harleys, instead of tiny oriental kids wearing jumpsuits on tacky-looking Star Wars bikes. There will be a world of difference, despite a desire to appeal to that anime-ish style.
The other game I wil try to make as realistic as possible in XP. Hoping for FF8-style graphics and a Chrono Trigger style battle system.
To do either RPG will require learning the proper code. I expect the Tactical RPG to take much less time to make due to the ease of putting the maps together, sorting out the battles, ect. Especially considering the player won't be able to freely walk around and the map will have dots marked about in which you pick the point you wish to go to. Aout like FFT or Tactics Ogre.
Are these game ideas related to any of your previously-mentioned projects, like Legend of the Pale Horseman?
