"What if like...there was an exact copy of you somewhere, except they're the opposite gender, like you guys could literally have a freaky friday moment and nothing would change. Imagine the best friendship that could be found there."
Yeah, that's what I've been using. It is a disadvantage with NES games (if you've ever seen my Kirby's Adventure LP, you'd hear why). Definately do not connect the NES directly to it, unless you want to go deaf. Going through the VCR is still kinda bad, but not as bad. Although I was using an old audio/video cable to record the NES with. Dunno if the quality's any better through an RF adaptor.
Also, .MPG4 is the best format to record in. Lowest amount of memory for good quality. The others either record high-quality with massive memory or low memory with horrible quality. (That last LPisode of Fu-Fu, the base video was 216MB for one hour.) Oddly enough, .WMV is the worst quality, despite it being the format I use to save the final edited video. Guess the video capture doesn't like .WMV as much as Windows Movie Maker does. :P
Also also, you'll want to play from your TV rather than your computer screen if you play anything that requires split-second timing (like platformers). There's just enough delay between console and video capture to mess you up. What you'll want to do is either use a splitter to your TV and the video capture, or have one line going to the video capture while your TV recieves from the old-fashioned coaxial cable.

Actually at this point I can't remember why I didn't like your game, outside of the world being rather empty. And the preview seems to be missing from the Mag's archive.

They've been done already, 1ce. Take a look. And Dray, sorry for posting these, but I felt like you didn't need to do an Usuru LP when there was one already floating around.

It was totally my fault. I should have focused on making a shorter, more playable demo rather than trying desperately to get as far as I could before I sent it to you.
Yeah, nine hours is a bit extensive for a demo. :P

Huh...I had no idea. Thanks for pointing that out SF.
I'd honestly rather play Watch Grass Grow, again. :P

Heh. Thought it failed. Just turned out it took its sweet time appearing on my page. :P
Let's Play "SD Paradise" Ep1: Dave Carter Special
Today, we move on to another RPGM platformer, this time for RPG Maker 2. But first, a special presentation.

Re: Let's Play (With Draygone) - Dave Carter Special
Okay, I'm gonna be up front, here. This requested LP is a special occasion, on account it's for somebody who we haven't seen in over two years. After this, I've got one or two more LPs to go through, and then I'm gonna take a lengthy break from LPing. Sorry to disappoint, but better to let you guys know now than to make you wait until the "season finalé" to find out your games won't get LPd by me any time soon.
Maybe somebody else could handle them, though. I by no means claim exclusive rights to making these things. Sure, I put a little special effort into my own videos, but I'm just having fun, and you guys could just make a straight bare-bones LP if you wanted. That's what most LPs on the net are, anyway. Doesn't matter much if you'd be a sucky commentator. I mean, just look at me.
With that said, on to the next LPisode!
Let's Play "SD Paradise" Ep2: Oscar the Grouch
Let's Play "Crystal Castles". Featuring more cameos than you can shake a stick at. (Where did that phrase come from, anyway?)
