what is your view on making dragon quest 1 into a 3d game on rpgmaker 3?

Aside from that, I think it would be ok. It would be nicer to see a XP version, but 3 defintally could do the job.

I guess RPGM3 would be a good fit for the Dragon Quest series since most the "default" gameplay seems to be based on it... but, for me, that's the problem in a way. I've always considered the DQ series to be a tiny bit on the boring side, and doing a remake through RM3 probably won't break any new ground on the Maker.
I mean, it's your game, so if you feel passionate about it, by all means go for it. But personally, I don't think it's a good idea, and it's not something I'd even think about playing.
