    RPG Maker 3.

This game has been sitting on my drawer for a very long time. It's collecting dust and I always imagine how fun it would be to demolish it. I've never...NEVER..gotten close to creating a game with this Maker. I think I'm going to try using it.

Bring me up to speed. What's with all of these modes and mumbo jumbo you people talk about?

Well that's not very specific on what you want to know, but I'll try to help.

In the layout editor you can create an event. Each event can have 20 modes. Each mode only holds 50 lines of coding. Every character also has 20 modes of coding for either the day or the night section. If you create a character then hit L1 until the last page you see the event editor for NPC. On the left is the day modes and on the right is the night modes.

They are helpful in many ways other then the fact that all the coding goes in them. For example say you want an NPC to give you a quest. In the first mode you have all the coding and stuff. At the end you say add mode. Then in the next mode you put all the coding you want the NPC to say when you finish the quest.

Well I hope that helps at all and if you need more just say something.

Aha, it's pretty much like RPG Maker 1! Somehow...
