Have you created the battle.net account?

It's not to hard to figure out, just go to Multiplayer on the main screen of SC and choose Brood War (if you have it installed), then select Battle.net USEast, and connect. Make a new account (Username + Password), and your in. Joining/creating/changing channels is as simple as hitting the corresponding buttons on the left side of the screen.

Done all that except for the last sentence. When I go to join a game, it says something about a private password. The channels just have chat stuff in them.

When you get to the chat channel, go to channel pavilion. You should be able to just type in [/join pavilion] in the chat room. Then, when other pavvies are in chat, they will say something like "pav/pav" then leave. Go to the game menu and type in Pav as the game name, with the password being pav. (Unless they wrote something different in chat.)

When you go to join a game, a screen you come up showing all the games that haven't started yet, pick one and you'll go into it.

I fought a good battle with 3 other people. The first two exited the game, one because I used a succesful Zergling Rush on 'em. The last one beat me, but only after an hour game time.

He ended up controlling the entire eastern half of the map, me the left (the map was Space Debris by the way).

I was able to take out a couple smaller bases, and I had just found out a succesful strategy (Hydralysks and Dark Swarm) when he sent in a fleet of Battlecruisers, Valkyries, and a few Siege Tanks at my northern base (my starting position). After the base's destruction (and some chatting) I surrendered.

A very good game. Is there a way to send replays around?
