Did the Wii REALLY need a system seller??? Seeing this topic pretty much assures me that SSB is THE game to own on the Wii. Almost makes me want to get one, but not quite. Although besides the mentions of PSO from the old boards and Starcraft, this seems to be the game that will unite the disparate legions of Pavvies. Meh. I played the N64 version single player, and I was a bit meh. Why did I not engage in the overwhelming joy and bliss of multiplayer, you may ask? I had/have no friends IRL interested in video games.

Ok, for some reason, I keep getting disconnected whenever I try to join a basic brawl match.

I can go into the spectator section just fine. But after I choose a character, it sits there waiting for other people, but then it just boots me off.

This happens any time a big online game hits a console for the first time.

Yeah, it's way too simple for a fighting game. But I guess that's why people like it, no complicated training needed since most characters play just about the same. They also don't give you a lot of memory to make custom stages, so cant be too detailed with that.

Definitely a multiplayer game.
