Let's see... The X-Box 360 is being released on November 22, The PS3 sometime in the middle/latter half of 2006 and Revolution in just "2006".
The NoE head of marketing has confirmed that the Revolution will most certainly be playable at E3 '06. That likely goes for the PS3 as well, so we can all see everything in action.
I wonder what the Revolution will be called in the end, though, assuming they don't stick with the codename again... What do you think?
The service itself is free, but the downloads will likely require microtransactions. However, you get special download credit for each Nintendo product you purchase. Kinda like the X-Box Live! cards you get from X-Box games. So, in theory, you may never have to pay for any downloads, assuming you've ample credit.
I can say that the learning curve was practically nonexistent. It's light. It's comfortable. It's goddamned precise. As far as Metroid Prime 2, the honest answer is that it was so intuitive that I wasn't even thinking about HOW the controller was doing it. All I know is that I was easily able to spin in circles. IIRC: if you move it further and further towards the left or right of the screen, Samus will start to spin around, and if you bring it back to the center she stops.
