Kirby™ is having a ball this summer, taking his own path in his new adventure, Kirby™: Canvas Curse. Launching today for Nintendo DS, this game sets Kirby on a quest to rescue Dream Land from the curse of an evil witch.
Multiple game reviewers have noticed how Kirby: Canvas Curse truly maximizes the unique touch-screen control features of Nintendo DS. Game play proves natural and enjoyable, as players use the stylus to draw rainbow paths for Kirby to travel upon. Players can draw defensive walls, tap enemies to stun them or draw loops to help Kirby build up speed.
Kirby is a longtime fan favorite, and even stars in his own hit Saturday-morning cartoon show on 4Kids.tv. For more information about Kirby: Canvas Curse, Rated E for Everyone, visit www.kirbykirbykirby.com.
I just got it today. I played through the first couple of stages and I think it's pretty awesome. Comparing this to Yoshi T&G is an insult to Kirby!
I wasn't sure if it would work that well but, controlling Kirby with the stylus is pretty easy and fun too. You tap on enemies to stun them, tap on Kirby to do a dash attack, tap on blocks to break them, and draw rainbows for Kirby to travel on. Kirby will travel on any swirl, line, or circle you draw. You can also create protective walls around Kirby and draw walls to keep kirby from falling and to turn him around also. Oh, and you do have an ink well (or magic meter) and it does run out but, it regenerates over time. Kirby also has a health bar so, he's not invincible.
It doesn't come with the pink stylus that Japan got btw.
Edit:
This game rocks. It's about time the DS got a game like this. If you own a DS, you owe it to yourself to pick this up.

Reason: miss spellings
My only complaint, having played Super Star several days ago, is the shortage of Kirby's copyable powers, which has been a problem for me with the last few games as well.
