I like Grandia II's ending. It didn't cop out and make Ryudo end up with the good girl. It sorta copped out in a different way, but one that felt fitting and made me want a true sequel. I still think Grandia II had one of the best-handled romances in a RPG to date.

I suddenly want to play Grandia 2 again.

But my Dreamcast is dead.

Grandia 2 was the last RPG I really, really enjoyed. No game I've played since comes even close to it.

Grandia II was awesome. The only thing I remember that was wrong with it was that towards the end of the game battles devulged into slugfests into seeing who could outlast the other and how much MP you had.

Ryudo, Elena & Milennia. They were great together. The rest of the cast wasn't quite as memorable though. Wasn't there a robot or something?

The ending of Shadow Hearts.

*** SPOILERS ***
You go through all of this **** then you fight two long boss battles in a row. You finally take on Albert Simon once you about kill him he does a move which completely heals himself and you have to take him down again. Directly after this, you fight the final boss Meta-God. This boss will bombard you with status effects and tear up your MP and Sanity. Even with Yuri's final fusion most powerful attack, which does 9999 damage, the fight will take over 30 minutes. Mainly, because the only way to fight her is to have one attacker, one healer, and one item user (to recover MP and Sanity. Once you finally defeat God there are a few explosions then they show stills with Alice saying what everyone does after the fight. Next comes the credits. Yay? Technically there are two endings, but the only difference is at the end of the credits Alice either wakes up or she doesn't because she is dead. ANTI****INGCLIMATIC!
