for those interested, it looks like the makers of Last Hope are in the process of finishing a new shooter for our beloved Dreamcast, called DUX.

proving there is life after death, and based on the screenshot, the after-life is brightly coloured.

The last Genesis game came out in 2006. The Amiga and Commodore still have actual professional games developed and they've been around for 20 years. The guy probably expects to sell to a really small market but more power to him.

yes. i would say among other things, the shooting genre for DC has been a type of lifeblood with Under Defeat, Karous, Last Hope & Trigger Heart Exelica being some of the last games released for the console. so, the audience for those games is still there, albeit as marcus mentions, a small audience.

personally, im just happy people are still using the hardware because it could have easily aged along side the PS2 if things hadn't gone bad for Sega.
