Final Fantasy IV in July

It's on its way

Today the publisher confirmed the North American release of the latest (Final Fantasy) remake, Final Fantasy IV for the Nintendo DS. Set to arrive on retailers' shelves on July 22, the game will feature 3D graphics, CG cutscenes with voice-overs, a remixed score by series composer Nobuo Uematsu, touch-screen support, and a multiplayer head-to-head battle mode.

We will drown by autumn at this rate.

I personally favor the PS1 version. Hoping they do a good job with this version. The game ties FF6 for my favorite FF.

yay! ive been waiting for this too. i just hope the voice-overs turn out okay. now its onto... FFV? FFVI?? i know they're just remakes, but i love these things. i was watching some cutscenes of FFIV in action and i really think they've bolstered the story and have given the characters stronger presance and personality.

id honestly rather see something like this on PSP only because i dont like the split screen and they could have made the graphics with less pixelations. but oh well.

I'm interested. And I like the idea of having the player vs player battle, but you know some jack in the butt is going to code it so he can't lose like what I've seen in Zelda PH.
