No official online play, that sucks. This is one of the top 5 games on my wish list. I like the idea of carving up monsters and making weapons out of their parts, and I don't care if the graphics look old (one of the big criticisms I read about the game.) Bad camera controls do annoy me though.

That's one of the biggest things about online gaming that disappoints me so much, everyone tend to play the latest games and the old games eventually get forgotten. That and FPS seem to be the most popular games for online play and I hate FPSs.

Who said that? It's, as gloom said, one of the best looking games on the PSP, and IMO one of the better looking games on the PS2.

Bad camera controls do annoy me though.

They aren't "bad" on the PSP it's just that your hands need to be in an odd position in order to control them.

And anyone that complains about lack of lock-on needs to learn to play differently.

I read a review of the original game that complained about the graphic looking too old, that's what I meant.

I'm not really much into portable games these days.

It's definitely a lot funner to play online. It made me very sad when they took MH1 on the PS2 offline.

Personally, I'm waiting for MH3 on the Wii to come out.

Just got ahold of Freedom 2. It's pretty fun, but like Mora said, hard to take it all in at once.
