    Re: Favorite Sidequests

The Rainbow Shell quest is the perfect sidequest. It has the most epic moments outside of the main storyline, and the spoils are the most rewarding EVER.

The fairy village in BoF 3 was pretty rofl. I was obsessed with those little *****es.
Does anyone like the post-Pokemon collection of minigames where you collect some creatures and then battle and/or race them? I mean, Rogue Galaxy, Sonic Adventure 2, Dark Cloud 2...?
I think it's gotten a little out of hand. I mean, like, Dark Cloud 2 has you race fish.
      FISH.

SONIC ADVENTURE 2! I NEARLY FORGOT.

Man, I HATED drudging through those cruddy Sonic/Shadow stages just to collect items for my Chao's.
        ...and that's why.

          Clives from Suikoden 2.

Most of Suikoden 2 in general.
"At first it just looked like a picture of a bunch of lily pads, but then I started scraping at it with my pocket knife and the whole painting just sort of spoke to me," Schmidt said. "For the first time, I finally understand what Monet was trying to get across in her work."

            Does the Star Road count?

All the sidequests in the fallout games where somebodys best fried/family memebers were kidnapped and you had to shoot your way though an entire building full of angry, drugged up crazies to save them.

It made me feel so warm and fuzzy on the inside when I brought them back, and were all "OH THANK YOU! HOW CAN I REPAY YOU!"

Theres this one quest in fallout 2 where this mom asks you to rescue her daughter. You find her locked up in a cell with these two guys about to rape her. When you get close they are like "Who the **** are you?! Get out of here, or else youll be in some serious trouble!", and since you can pick what you want to say to them , you tell them your there to save the girl. They say "Oh yeah?", and one of your choices of what to say is "Im here to kick ass and chew bubble gum. And Im all out of gum.", and then the fight starts.

I loved all the funky references in the game.

Monster Arena in Dragon Quest VIII. The rewards for beating ranks were nice enough, but honestly the real advantage was building a team that could do some real damage in battle.

Also have to mention the Amala Labyrinth in Nocturne.

World of Warcraft. The whole game is a million side quests. Its taken more of my time than any other game ever. And I loved every min of it.
