    Ah memories.

I actually had fun. I can't say the same for many new games I've played. Discuss.
    ...and that's why.

I just think we could use more level-based games where you go left to right and sometimes fight a boss.

Super Mario World > Mario Bros 3

SMW owns. After playing it for a while, I had a dream about obtaining the cape and floating away with it.

<sigh> I remember playing that all the time when I first got my Super NES.

I remember when consoles had pack-in games (well, the Wii had Wii Sports included, though)

Yeah, those were the good old days. Best day ever when I went down to my basement and found a new SNES with Super Mario World sitting at the title screen waiting for me. My dad is sweet.

I remember my dad coming home from work, bringing in the SNES box and I was like "YAAAAAAAH! OHHH MY GOOOOOOD!!!" like that one N64 kid on YouTube.

A few minutes later, he brought in a Super Scope AND Final Fight and I was just rolling around in circles on the floor like a sea lion.

I was unaware sea lions rolled around on the floor in circles.

Apparently only sea lions named Misty I guess. It's a rare name for sea lions.

As for SMW it was a really good game, and having 96* always bothered me cause I was never sure if I had found all the exits, and there was always speculation about there being 100 of them. But it's not true, only 96, it's not a percentage. Hard to believe that was 14 years ago for me.

Still play it every now and then, but I like Mario 64 a little better. Probably because it was the first console game to show the promise of a 3D platformer. Well to me anyway. Plus side flips are awesome, along with wall kicks. Also punting goomba, that was also fun on Mario 64. If only it had Yoshi, well besides for that special thing.

But SMW is certainly one of the best 2D platformers ever.

I remember the mighty boss battle with Bowser and his flying clown thingy. I managed to beat him in time just before I had to go to my sister's play.

And you get a kiss from the Princess at the end. Always a good thing.

I honestly don't remember too much about this game other than the bowser fight and those green jello circles in the ghost houses.

SMW isnt that far up there for me because I played it so much 14 years ago Im still not over it

Id have to say SM2 was my favorite, then 3, then SMW, then 1

Did anyone ever own SM Paint? I used to spend hours in its music maker and animation maker

I've done naughty things with people while playing mario before. It was amazing.
