Okami
It's awesome. From the great visual style to the celestial brush, it's just a fun and engaging game to play. Certainly one of the best games I've played in a long time. Sure it has it's drawn out parts, but overall it was just a great experience.Last edited by thetruecoolness; 03-06-2007, 09:06 PM.

Rambo - NES
My friend and I beat this game while my brothers were on a trip with my parents. It (along with the Nintendo) was supposed to be a birthday gift for my bros. when they got back, but we beat it, and let them know about it before they got home. Felt bad afterwards, but oh well, I'll never forget it...good times.Last edited by Pagerron; 03-15-2007, 03:24 PM." I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father but by me. Re: Name a game and talk about it.
Raiders of the Lost Ark for Atari.
One of the four games mentioned in another thread (including E.T., Superman, and Pitfall) that got me to realize how I preferred adventure-based games over twitch action games. This preference carried through to every other console I've owned, but expanded to include RPGs, strategy, etc.
There was a lot to do in this game, and it took me quite a while to get near the end, but I never solved it. There was this spot where you were supposed to go near the edge of this cliff, and jump off while carrying a parachute. If you did not have the parachute, you would die. If you had the parachute, you were supposed to be able to "glide" into this cave built into the side of the cliff. I was never able to get the parachute to open before plummeting to my death.
I did not know you could do that for the longest time, but then asked someone else who had the game about it, and he told me. That's the old-school, pre-internet way to find out about hidden game secrets.
Yeah, I know, I'm old.

Hmmm....
Soulblazer!
I liked the story concept of playing someone sent down to Earth from the heavens to save lost souls. Plus the fact that you can talk to animals, furniture, even the ladders you climb and the doors you open. It was just super crazy weird, but that was the appeal for me.
