Diddy Kong Racing DS

Anyone get this game? I liked the original, and despite all the work they say it takes to unlock content, I don't think I'd mind. The one thing that has over the fence is the apparant control issues. Can someone confirm or deny how the controls for this game are?

I just bought it at Target since they're having that sale. Picked up DKR and FF3. Anyway, I like DKR so far. The plane and hovercraft feel a little too drifty but I think that's just because I'm not used to them. I never played DKR 64 and have only been used to Mario Kart on DS. The only real problem I've run into with the controls is the stylus based boosts for plane and car. If you bother to do it you get a boost but then you're late to grab the controls and you end up playing with the stylus in your hand because there's no time to put it down. Just one really dumb idea.

I like the ballon touch challenges and the making the wish tracks. But the boss touch challenges are just stupid. What were they thinking with those?

I can't get 50 balloons on all the balloon touch challenges! Although I only play when I poop, so I haven't been putting in a ton of effort.

Yeah, it's practically impossible to get all of them. Haven't managed it either. I've gotten 48s and 49s but not all 50. I'm just about to complete Adventure 1. Just have to beat the second Wizpig challenge.
