Saw the implications of this during a visit to EB today. Big sign written with black magic marker on Looseleaf paper that says must show ID when buying M-rated games.
order online works gold also our gamestop is just a bunch of drunkies so i got gears of war for a one dollar sence the guy was drunk
it was HILARIOUS
Scan of the receipt, please? No drunkie would be good enough to fool the system so well that they could sell a popular game for $1 and not put up a big red flag. This wouldn't be the first time you're lying, which is completely pathetic, but I'll eat my words if you can provide this.

I can't say I agree with GameStop's policy. The ESRB ratings are more of a recommendation than anything, and like Terr said, there are a lot of 15 year olds capable of handling M-rated material. More importantly, kids who REALLY want a certain M-rated game will probably find a way to get it, and it's up to their parents or guardians--not Gamestop or any other retailer--to monitor this. That being said, there are some 15-year-olds that AREN'T mature enough to handle M-rated games, and the harder it is to obtain such a game, the less risk it'll present to the child and the people around him. And it is, of course, Gamespot's perogative to not sell certain games to someone, even if it is a form of age-discrimination.

LIE. SAW IT A MILE AWAY.
Firstly, whatever price is programmed for that product's UPC is what comes up. If the cashier has a valid reason to alter the price, he more than likely needs a supervisor's override and some sort of documentation to validate the change. I don't imagine all that happening if he was drunk.
And I don't have to worry about ordering online if I don't wanna. We're of age, sukka.
Please, Caciss, simple man's name must always be lower case, and two words. Apparently when he made this name, he did not think enough of himself to give himself a proper name by capitalizing it. As a matter of fact, I think he might have trouble deciding when the usage of a capital letter is appropriate in general.
