    Wiiplay (with free Wiimote)

Recently, I read up on this and it looks mighty interesting. It comes with a Wiimote (no Nunchuk, unfortunately) so you can instantly get a second person to play with you right out of the celophane. (provided the games require just the Wiimote, of course.)

Personally, I really enjoy Wii games that take full advantage of the Wiimote feature. The fun I had with Wii Sports, especially with baseball, almost made me fling my Wiimote and break it--even WITH the strap around my wrist! So I'm thinking Wiiplay will give me the same experience.

And I think this can be played online--though 'I'm not entirely sure.

You think this might be a good investment in the future?

Well, how much is it in comparison to just a wiimote?

About a $10 difference. A Wiimote is about $39.99. This game, bundled with a Wiimote, is $49.99.

It seems like a good deal--kind of like for $10 more than what you'd pay for just a Wiimote, you get a game with it.

IGN: We Play WiiPlay It's a detailed rundown of all the games in WiiPlay. Most seem kinda lame but there's a couple fun looking ones. I wouldn't play full game price for it without the Wiimote but I'd be willing to pay $10 just for Miis racing on cows so the fact that there's eight other games makes it an appealing package.

It sounds like a pretty crappy game, but based on how hard it is to get a WiiMote at the moment, probably a good deal.

I see Wiimotes everywhere. But no Wiis.

Tha cow racing bit looks hilarious.

As for the entire game itself, it looks an awful lot like Mario Party--without the game board. Oh, and Mario Party 8 is supposed to come out for the Wii this year

I haven't played Mario Party since like, #5. I kinda lost interest after 3. But 5 was still good.

But WiiPlay sounds like a good deal, mayhaps.

Having owned a UK Wii briefly, I gave it a spin.

In actual fact, it's more like the game is the bonus rather than the remote. It's a collection of minigames which teach you how to use it. Some aren't so hot, but others are quite entertaining. I liked the fishing game the most.

Eh, who knows? I'll most likely get it at a later date.

Oh, and I got you in my address book, Mr.Designer. Sorry I was late giving you my code--a month and a half into owning a Wii, and I'm still a Wii newbie.
