No, I'm afraid. The first chapter is an introduction, so it's much lower on the battiness scale in contrast to the rest. Gotta start somewhere, though.
The art is 100% complete! And not a moment too soon, either. All that remains is the lettering.
Which leads to some bad news. My Toshiba E15-AV101 Qosmio laptop is crapping out on me in a big way. Now I have to do the lettering all over again...
Fortunately, I'll be picking up a MacBook Pro tomorrow, so not only will I be able to continue the lettering, but I can make double-time progress thanks to Mac OS X's more PS-friendly environment. Yay!
IRA's job's done. Now it's time for me to do MY Ring Thing.
Good news everyone! The Ring Thing, Chapter One: Rebirth of a Contriver, is uploaded and ready. I actually finished it a couple of weeks ago, but the server issues forced me to postpone the updates.
I like it so far. It's interesting and weird, so I'll keep reading.
My one problem is with the sound effects. They do the job, but I wish you had some that were done by hand, just to match the art style. It's a small, trivial thing, and it probably only bothers me.
