Finally got a scanner.

Hello pav. I finally got my hands on a nice scanner. I recently finished a very cool picture of Guile so I thought I'd share it with you all. It's based on a pic I found of him on the net.

I used pencil for the outline and colored pencils for basically everything else.

Congrats on the purchase My scanner just bit the dust, so Im in the market now for a new one(I wont be getting a cheap one this time)

That's a cool pic. I have a question to anyone that can answer.

If I scan a pencil drawing my drawing appears ugly showing every pencil mark.
How do I fix that problem?

My scanner scans(or used to scan) at 1200x1600 pixels, I use TruView and reduce the size by 40-50% and reduce sharpness by 20-30%, giving the pencil lines a sort of solid texture, and the reduction in size eliminates 75-80% of all small pencil marks.

Thats what I do anyways, and it works out pretty well IMO.

Meh it's fanart, and it shows off my coloring ability. So I guess thats why.

Yea, the face was probably the hardest to do. Also I'm not used to doing veins so I still need practice with that. I'll try and improve on those points next time I do someone with a muscular body.
