If you haven't already, watch "The Devil's Rejects". Rob Zombie is truly underappreciated as a director. I'd call it intense, others might not agree.

WAS I RIGHT ABOUT BLADE RUNNER?
Nope, Ordinary People is the movie I was talking about. Don't get me wrong, though, I think more movies like Blade Runner need to exist (Sci-fi with subtilty that's also accessable?! what?), but Ordinary People was just one of those movies where everything was done right.

I saw Cars today...it was kinda lame, actually. It was a solid movie, all the pieces were there, they just had none of the fun dialouge or characters that make Pixar movies stand above the crowd.

Also, my girlfriend will be dragging me to every cgi fest that comes out this year...she allready started with Over The Hedge; which was allright cause it was Toy Story with animals.

I don't know about hero, but I would say Devil's Rejects was actually pretty good. A much much better movie than House of a 1000 corpses was. He's doing a Halloween movie next...

Blackberry and I used to watch three or four movies every weekend, but we've just been too busy lately. Summer is here so hopefully we can play a little catch-up.

Hey, Crash is a pretty darn good movie...sex and car crashes....James Spader tonguing a vagina-shaped scar on Holly Hunter's (or was it Rosanna Arquette's...I haven't seen the movie in a while) leg, then proceeding to insert himself into the scar and have sex with it...James Spader and Elias Koteas having sex in the backseat of a car...I saw this film with five buddies, and there were about 30 people in the theatre. By the time the film was over, we were the only ones left.

Oh, wait....that's Crash by David Cronenberg. Never mind.

Although you did already mention Requiem for a Dream as an intense movie, if you really want to see something intense, watch Bad Lieutenant.

I myself like obscure, foreign films, so I know what you mean. Man Bites Dog, Lilya 4-Ever, Irreversible, Fat Girl, Thomas in Love...just to name a few.

                Irreversible is awesome.

                Well that was worth posting.

Okay anyway. I saw a movie called Zeotrope the other day. It was intense. And a little weird.

                  I thought Irreversable was worthless.

Let me plug Kiss Kiss Bang Bang once again, as I have a few times. It's a comedy with a character named Gay Perry. How could you not love it? It's about to be out on DVD.

If you want a movie that you can watch and then not understand until you watch it again, I recommend Primer. Sadly, I knew the gimmick going in. I still didn't get it until I watched it over.

For intense there's also the ever reliable Requiem for a Dream.

The Exorcism of Emily Rose. Another intense movie. Except in the courtroom. Then it's just good drama.

If you want a movie that you can get angry at, forget about then fall asleep to then watch Primer.

Gotta love the nothing budget though.

I haven't been watching movies...but I sat down and watched Medium Season 1 the other day. I'm going to move onto Battlestar Gallactica now.
