I just had my mind blown!

I found out today that one of the people I would call a friend at work (Home Depot) and going to be working with on a comic book, just happens to be a movie star.

    I couldn't believe it. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Remy_Ryan

The person who works at the pro-desk and is goofy and fun was the person who helped Robocop!

Now I got to go buy the movie.

Has anyone else had this kind of thing happen?

Admittedly, we're talking about Robocop 3. They could have used that movie for the Witness Protection Program, so few people saw it.

      Still, cool.

        I wouldn't call her a star.

The first Robocop is the only good one... But it's still cool. My friend's mother is a relatively well known author.

I'm afraid to watch the Robocop sequels.

Closest thing is that I went to school with a local DJ.

I actually like the second Robocop better.

A guy I knew in high school got eaten by a monster or something on Buffy. I think that he was working at fast food restaurant and he got put in the meat maybe? I don't really remember.

I think my church camp councilor as a kid might now be a C-level actor, had supporting roles in A Knight's Tale and a few other movies around the turn of the millennium. Also, my sister works out with a chick who got capped on The Walking Dead (she was the zombified wife of the black guy from the pilot, so she got her picture in a couple magazines and was apparently pretty happy about it).

I don't think I know of any closer connections to the film industry. I'm kinda surprised a couple of the people I knew in high school didn't end up hitting it big, but if they did I never heard about it.
