Car Accident & Train Ticket

Got in a car accident. Was my fault. Rearended a guy while merging in rush hour traffic. All my airbags went off and crushed the front of my car pretty good. Cop didn't give me ticket (thank god, he must've liked me). My first "at fault" accident involving another car (actually there's 3 involved total, the guy hit the guy in front of him), my insurance will cover it though.

On top of everything, I can't find my damn monthly train ticket this morn...had to pay $7 to get to work.

So yeah, go me!

UPDATE: My car is a total loss.

I hope you and the other people were OK. I got in my first at-fault accident the exact same way two years ago (damn 4:1 merges!!), and pain didn't start coming on for a day and a half, after which it got worse and worse - so see a specialist immediately if you have any worsening pain this week.

After that I felt almost like life would never go smoothly again - as you're possibly seeing now with the train ticket loss looming over your mind. Most likely, in a couple months you'll have this completely behind you and won't feel nearly as harried as you must feel now.

And if you're like me you'll be able to start *****ing about the small stuff again.

Bummer man, that sucks. Hopefully you didn't get injured. I've been lucky so far when it comes to accidents. When I rear ended someone I was going too slow to do any damage and next thing close involved me running over a street sign. The sign didn't make it.
