There was this 'Hanson brother' looking woman/man the worked at my grocery store that for 5 years I couldn't figure out their gender. I finally gave up and decide it's a woman.

The first time I heard "Danke schoen" was in Ferris Bueller's Day Off. I didn't learn that it wasn't a woman until at least 15 years later.

The first time I heard Silversun Pickups in Rock Band 2, I THOUGHT it was a guy singing, but I had a twinge of doubt.

I thought it was a girl until I saw them on TV. That guy has a terrible voice.

There was a teen at work who came to work on our 4-man team for a ride, and it wasn't until after I spent an entire day or so that I realized that it was a girl. She wore her hair short, pressed her boobs down, and otherwise looked and sounded like a skinny preteen guy.

She was a total bro too. Could fart and talk about manly stuff all day.
