Is anybody here a fan of the band Pink floyd? They are one of my favorite bands of all time and they just recently reformed to play at live8. I was just wondering if anyone else up here liked them as well.

Animals is the best album ever, as well.

And 'Dark Side of the Oz' is REAL, not a coincedence. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise.

I've loved Pink Floyd ever since I was a little kid and listened to the wall and darkside. Then when I was in high school and college I got back into them, and picked up a lot of their other albums, like atom heart mother, obscured by clouds and the soundtrack to "more."

Funk, do you have the Les Claypool version of Animals? I swear to god it's really good. I'd be more than happy to send it to you over AIM or MSN. Les credits Pink Floyd as being one of his major influences.

I used to really like them, then I just got tired of it.

The only prog-rock album I listen to on a consistent basis is "In the Court of the Crimson King" by King Crimson.

I liked them a lot 3rd-8th grade, and then I just moved on to different kinds of music. I guess you could say I got tired of prog rock.

I'll always love Dark Side of the Moon though..

My friend and I are real big fans of Floyd. We went to an "Australian Pink Floyd" concert last fall; they're a great tribute band that sounds incredibly like Floyd. I’m really excited about the possibility of a reunion tour that might be soon, I’ve heard rumors but nothing official. I'd pay anything to see them live before they permanently retire.

Pink Floyd, my favoritest band still. My collection of their works still isn't complete though, because I have listened to them less and less.
I've always loved Dave Gilmour, but of all of them I think Time (har!) has been the worst on him:
to
