I know that I can be quite the lunkhead from time to time, but on more than one occasion, I was told by my teachers to explore writing as a potential career path. I eventually chose art because it was honestly more likely to make a living that way...

...that doesn't mean I don't sometimes wonder about what might have happened if I went down that path. Be it a person, place, or opportunity, is there a crossroads in your past you wonder about if it had occurred differently?

I always wondered what would have happened if I tried out for sports. I was (and still am) in great shape and I was pretty good at running and such. I never did because it never interested me.

I'm glad I didn't follow through with my "other path". I apparently could have gone far in that particular field, but aside from troubles in that time, walking that path would have scarred me for life, more than likely.
