Ginobili is fun to watch much like a bass that flops around on a dock is fun to watch.

      Yeah.

Cause everybody knows that shooting 100% through 3 quarters including four 3's is boring.

2-0 Spurs, Detroit is getting DESTROYED.

I never said he was boring. I love watching a spaz as much as the next person. I hope he keeps it up. If the Pistons can't do anything then watching a flailing Argentine hoop it up is my second best hope.

I'll give you there is something to the criticism that whenever Ginobli drives to the basket he's looking to draw the foul than actually make a layup. It's getting rediculous how many times he drives and gets fouled.

They banged bodies with a physical Nuggets team in Round 1, handled Seattle's smallball gimmick in Round 2, then played run-and-gun with the Suns in Round 3. Can you remember another basketball team adapting to three different styles in three rounds like that? San Antonio is more malleable than Russell Crowe.
Even I was kind of surprised how San Antonio was able to run with Phoenix.

Fun fact: Ginobli used to live across the street from my uncle. My little cousin has had him come over and play ball with him in the street. Sadly he was never around whenever I was there. But now he's got that phat contract and moved on up to the Dominion.

            These finals are a crock.

The only people who don't think they're utterly boring and lacking any interest are Spurs fans. It has nothing to do with being a "casual NBA fan" or not.

I'm not casual at all. I've been watching the NBA for over a decade and I've almost entirely forgotten the Finals are occurring right now.

The Pistons have always been boring to me. No matter who they're playing. Defensive battles are not entertaining. If you wanna watch a sport where no one can score go watch Soccer (which is boring).

Since Ginobli came into the league I've said that he's the only entertaining Spur I've seen in my life. That statement still stands.

If the finals would have been a healthy Miami Heat (injuries being the ONLY reason they lost to the Pistons) versus the Spurs, it would've been infinitely better than the SNOOZE fest ocurring right now.

...Guess I'll just have to wait till football season starts.

Boy, tonight's game SURE was boring. Pistons steal, fast break ensues. Over and over and over again. Where was Super Ginobili? He flailed into a few fouls, but was laying bricks the rest of time. Ben Wallace with five blocks in the first quarter? Why wasn't he trying to score instead? Even while on defense, he should have been trying to score! GEEZ!!!

wow, a pistons fan found a pistons win to be exciting.

the point is that no one other than spurs or pistons fans care.

and that's not a good assesment of a championship series.

Two words: Harlem Globetrotters. You'd love them, highwind. The team they play just lets them work their magic. When they team up with Scooby-Doo, they are UNSTOPPABLE.

people who like prefer jackasses slam dunking with their tongues hanging out won't like these games. people who like basketball probably will though. it's two good teams slugging it out as opposed to one golden calf surrounded by four jersey fillers. i didn't know much about the pistons but they're a good team. and i was looking foward to a solid, and non-rigged final matchup.

but yeah it'd be nice if the spurs win. i just hope they don't want another stadium if they do.

And I just saw some thing on SportsCenter about problems with a new collective bargaining agreement(CBA)... and a potential lockout, a'la the NHL...

(I don't wanna sound like an ass, but I'm kinda rooting for it. Maybe because I'm so jaded by the NHL's lockout.)

David Stern won't allow a lockout to prevent the start of next season. If he has to, he'll eat the head of the union first.

                              God I can't stand And1.

Don't underestimate the power of the lockout.

If there is no NBA for a season I'll FREAK!
