I would love to say I buy anime which I would watch twice. Which of course is true with Dective Conan, which I have everyone released in the US. Then there are those I really enjoyed and will watch once more like Parnoida Agent, Lain, Boogiepop Phantom.

Then there are those animes I bought on whims and continued to buy just to see how it turned out, like My Hime. Which I would feel regretful for buying if it wasn't for the fan service at the end of each eposide.

I hate how much DVDs cost. Especially anime. Or Hollywood movies. Or TV show Box sets. Especially the shows from HBO. I hate how much CDs cost. I hate how much itunes costs. I hate how much Chef BoyArdee costs. I hate how much 2 for $3 Whoppers from Burger King cost. I hate how much blades of grass cost. I hate how much it costs to buy a lawnmower and the gasoline and oil and spark plugs to mow those blades of grass. I hate how much rent costs. I hate how much $.99 Double cheeseburgers from McDonald's cost. I hate how much it costs to buy a new video game, and then getting stuck playing it, so resorting to looking up FAQs for the game, and then printing out 30 pages of them on printer paper that I ACTUALLY PAID MONEY FOR.


I hate how much the electric bill costs. I hate living in the society in which I do where I feel obligated to have some sort of stimuli, in the form of DVDs, video games, internet, music, etc.; constantly assaulting my senses in order to numb me from the soul-crushing existence I experience on an everyday basis. I hate how much porn costs. I hate how much sex costs. I hate how much toilet paper costs. I hate how much avocados cost. I hate how much Magus costs ($12.42). I hate how much Q-tips cost. I hate the cost associated with constructing a rocket in the barn in your backyard. I hate how much HDTVs cost. I hate how much next-gen video game systems cost. I hate how much cauliflower costs. I hate how much earthworms cost. I hate how much pennies cost. I hate how much postage stamps cost.


I hate the cost associated with gazing upon ten different pictures of Owl of Parliament. I hate how much Atreyu costs. I hate how much Nash's female friend costs. I hate how much ronald and me costs. I hate how much rep costs. I hate how much Mora costs (he IS limited edition, you know). I hate how much a fried lardwich costs. I hate how much spam costs. I hate how much Maijo's cousin costs. I hate how much dark chocolate costs. I hate how much energy drinks cost. I hate how much it costs to duplicate a key. I hate how much the premium cables cost that I need to buy in order to optimize my HDTV experience.

I was unaware they put music albums on Blu-Ray now....oh, wait, you did say CDs, didn't you?



Where in God's name are you shopping for music if you're paying $30 for a CD? Maybe some "double disc, limited edition" or something, or some rare CD from ebay...but stuff like that, you'd probably already know what it sounds like, and are not risking $30 on something you're not sure you'll like.
