Make no mistake I'll be buying the DVD.
The Cyclops having only one eye, needed to seek shelter from the harsh sun. The shadow cast by the spheres gave him temporary respite.

The movies great. Theres some sad parts, and kickass parts. Theres some parts that had me confused, but I just chalked it up to being Futurama. Theres not really anything else they could have done to make it better. It was awsome all the way through.

I saw a couple promos for it during Futurama on AS and um... No, they're really not.

I think most of the target audiance knows.

But then ending doesn't really make sense. Why are there all the extra benders. Sure there would be a lot of them in the cenuries leading up to the present, but wouldn't they leave one by one as it was their time to deliver the treasure? There shouldn't be any but one by the end of the movie, right? Or is my thinking wrong. Plus the movie kinda negates the sadness of the end of Fry's Dog episode, seeing as Fry was there the whole time.

Yeah he may have been there with his dog, but that was an alternate reality double along with everyone else in his timeframe. When bender blew his place up Seymore gets hit by the blast, and for some reason turned back into his "rock dog" form from when they fouind him way in the future. Damn I hate time travel. ITS TOO CONFUSING.

                          Re: Futurama.

I thought it was for the most part a big dud.

The first 10 minutes or whatever, I think, are really solid but after the nude beach scene I think goes into boooooooooringville for like a half hour. It eventually picks up again, but still never really lives up to even some of my least favorite episodes. I guess it's more of an extended sappy episode, which were never really my cup of tea.

I hated the scam thing from the very beginning. The entire scene they were getting scammed I was cringing for whatever reason. Just seemed like a really lame plot and I thought the twist was kind of lame.

It was ok. I think it's main fault is that the whole thing rest on a really lame plot point and the scam aliens just annoying. It did have some good belly laugh inducing moments but the whole thing felt like it was stretched too far and they tried to stuff too much stuff in. *** SPOILERS ***

It just didn't feel like the writing was the same quality as before. It's there but it's not there.

I think in the end it suffers because they were trying to both make a feature length movie and individual episodes. Think how the Family Guy movie was and you'll know what I mean.

But if it ends up with us getting more episodes of Futurama rolling I'm all for it.

And what the hell was up with only a Zap Brannigan cameo?
